Job summary

Ayrshire, based in Irvine, North Ayrshire, is seeking an experienced MIG welder for a small metal fabrication workshop. This temporary, ongoing contract requires passing a house weld test at interview and demonstrated MIG welding experience in fabrication using jigs on site.

Working hours are 8:00–16:30 Monday to Thursday with a 15:30 finish on Fridays; hourly rate is £14.38. Immediate availability is preferred and weld tests are on site.

Qualifications

• Recent MIG welding experience in fabrication is required.
• Weld test will be undertaken at interview.
• Candidates must be proficient with stainless steel components.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Mig Welder for small metal fabrication workshop Irvine, North Ayrshire. (Temporary, ongoing contract).

Candidates must have recent engineering MIG welding experience and will need to undertake a house weld test at interview.

Only people with MIG welding experience in fabrication using Jigs will be considered.

Working hours 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 3.30pm finish on Fridays - Hourly rate £14.38. The ideal candidate will be immediately available. Weld test required on site.
