Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Holland, MI is seeking a skilled welder to repair non-conforming parts and components. You will perform MIG and TIG welding, move items within the plant, and participate in preventative actions while following safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of welding experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and strong English communication. This is a first/second shift role in Plant 4 with an employee-owned ESOP-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3–5 years in relevant welding/assembly work.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English to perform duties.

Responsibilities

  • Repair parts/components that are non-conforming to specs by welding or grinding.
  • Repair parts/components and MIG/TIG weld as required.
  • Move parts to correct locations in plant to support flow.
  • Participate in preventative actions and plant housekeeping.
  • Maintain welding equipment and follow safety procedures.

Takes responsibility for actions, results, and mistakes.
