Impact Staffing is seeking a MIG/TIG Welder in Lawrenceville, GA for first shift (Mon-Thurs, 10-hour days). Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Requires MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Must read tape measures and calipers to check weld size and tolerances.
• Performs basic shop math including decimals and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements.
• Weld with MIG and TIG methods in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Set up welding equipment and select proper torch, filler rod, and settings.
• Inspect welds for bead size, fusion, and overall quality.
• Fit, tack, and assemble parts using jigs and fixtures; repair broken parts as needed.
• Clean and finish welded parts and perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.
