Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a MIG/TIG Welder II to join our South Chesterfield, VA fabrication team. You will lay out, fit and weld fabricated components to form machinery frames, shelving and related structures, using MIG and TIG processes and robotic welding when available.

The role requires reading work orders and drawings, deburring edges, and maintaining a safe, orderly work area while meeting production targets. A high school diploma or GED is required, with welding experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate preferred.
• Experience in MIG/TIG welding and reading drawings.
• Ability to read work orders and procedures accurately.
• Experience with robotic welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cuts aluminum/galvanized metals to work order specifications.
• Operates radial and miter saws to size parts.
• Reads work orders, drawings and procedures for fabrication.
• Welds thin aluminum extrusions using MIG and TIG processes.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area per company procedures.
