Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Welder / Fabricator in Saint Anthony, Idaho. The role involves building, modifying, and maintaining custom production equipment with approximately 75% welding and fabrication and 25% maintenance.

Candidates should have MIG and TIG welding experience, preferably with stainless steel, and be able to read prints to fabricate from drawings. This is a second shift position with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong MIG and TIG welding experience
• Ability to fabricate components from prints and drawings
• Strong mathematics, measurement, and layout skills
• Experience with product design, equipment design, or process control
• Read mechanical and electrical prints
• Ability to work second shift and overtime

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel
• Fabricate machines, frames, guards, and components
• Read fabrication prints, mechanical and electrical drawings
• Measure, lay out, fit, assemble, and finish components
• Use plasma cutters, torches, grinders, brakes, shears, drill presses
• Tear down machinery for inspections and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related systems
• Follow USDA food-safety procedures
