Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Welder to lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components into structural forms such as frames, stands, reels, and shafts. You will set up welding equipment and perform MIG, TIG, and torch welds per blueprints and print specifications.

The role requires 2–5 years of MIG/TIG welding experience, aluminum and stainless TIG experience, and strong problem-solving skills. On-site position, with emphasis on quality and 5S in the department.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 2-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of experience with MIG and TIG welding in a fabrication environment
• Must have aluminum and stainless steel TIG welding experience
• Be a problem solver
• Blueprint reading is a must
• Quality-focused
• Welding certification or technical degree a plus

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Set up equipment and welds parts, using MIG/TIG/Torch welding equipment.
• Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.
• Basic knowledge and use of hand and power tools.
