C&C FABRICATION is seeking a MIG/TIG Welder to join our on-site team in Laceys Spring, AL.

Position Summary

As a MIG/TIG Welder at C&C FABRICATION, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components by applying MIG and TIG welding processes to fabricate and repair metal parts. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read and follow work instructions, and a commitment to safety and workmanship.

You will work closely with production team members to meet quality and scheduling goals, ensuring welds meet required specifications and that finished parts are properly prepared for the next stage of production.

Key Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate metal components using MIG and TIG welding techniques according to job requirements and workmanship standards.
• Read and interpret basic drawings, specifications, and work instructions to determine weld type, settings, and required outcomes.
• Inspect welds and finished products for quality, alignment, and adherence to tolerance requirements; perform minor adjustments as needed.
• Prepare and fit parts by measuring, positioning, and tack-welding to ensure proper fit-up prior to final welding.
• Follow all safety procedures, including safe handling of materials, proper PPE use, and maintenance of a clean and organized work area.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience performing MIG and TIG welding in a fabrication or production environment.
• Ability to read basic instructions and interpret weld/fit requirements to achieve consistent results.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety practices and safe shop behavior.
• Ability to work with hand tools and measuring equipment to verify fit and quality.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic, with the ability to follow processes and meet production expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience welding a variety of material types and thicknesses with consistent quality.
• Familiarity with basic fabrication practices such as grinding, cleaning, and finishing welded parts.
• Ability to troubleshoot weld quality issues and make adjustments to improve outcomes.
• Prior experience working in a team-based manufacturing or fabrication setting.
