Job summary

River Bend Industries is seeking a skilled welder to perform simple welding procedures under direct supervision, building structural steel skids, enclosures and piping to the company’s quality standards. You will read blueprints, operate MIG equipment, finish welds, and perform quality checks while maintaining safety and housekeeping.

The role offers hands-on growth in blueprint reading and welding skills. You will work in a non-climate controlled plant environment with potential lifting

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an internal welding test.
• One year experience in various forms of welding.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in MIG welding techniques and understanding weld requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings for fabrication.
• Finish and stamp welds; operate a cutting torch; perform quality checks.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
