Job summary

1 Resource Group seeks an experienced MIG & Flux-Core Welder to perform specialized equipment repair, fabrication, and maintenance welding. The role requires repairing, modifying, reinforcing, and fabricating metal parts used in specialized equipment.

The ideal candidate will weld per drawings and measurements, troubleshoot equipment issues, and follow verbal instructions. A hands-on welding test is required as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG (GMAW) and Flux-Core (FCAW) welding for repair, fabrication, and maintenance.

• Conduct maintenance welding and structural repairs as needed.

The ideal candidate will have strong welding and fabrication skills, the ability to troubleshoot equipment-related issues, and the ability to work from drawings, measurements, and verbal instructions.

A hands-on welding test is required as part of the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

• PerformMIG (GMAW) and Flux-Core (FCAW) weldingfor equipment repair, fabrication, and maintenance.
• Repair damaged, cracked, worn, or broken metal components on specialized equipment.
• Fabricate brackets, supports, frames, guards, mounts, and other custom metal components.
• Perform maintenance welding and structural repairs as needed.

• Previous experience withMIG and Flux-Core welding.
• Experience with equipment repair, maintenance welding, fabrication, or industrial welding preferred.
• Ability to perform repair welds on existing equipment and components.
• Ability to fabricate components from measurements, drawings, or specifications.
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand basic dimensions.
• Ability to identify welding and fabrication issues and determine appropriate repair methods.
