Job summary

TKO StaffPros is seeking a Welder/Fitter for on-site fabrication and welding on construction and manufacturing projects. The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, performing MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding, and using power tools and calipers for precision.

Candidates should be comfortable with assembly, rigging operations, and working in a team to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and ASME codes to determine project specs.
• Proven welding experience across MIG, TIG, FCAW and stick processes.
• Familiarity with fabrication and assembly processes and basic math skills.
• Experience with ductwork assembly, pipe threading is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW and stick welding on sheet metal and pipe.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and ASME standards.
• Use press brakes, plasma cutters and hand/power tools for fabrication.
• Assemble components with calipers and micrometers for accuracy.
• Conduct rigging operations using cranes or forklifts safely.

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe.

• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.
  
• Assemble components according to specifications while ensuring accuracy through the use of calipers and micrometers.
  
• Conduct rigging operations safely while moving materials or components using cranes or forklifts.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines.
  

Experience

• Proven experience in construction site environments is preferred.
  
• Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding.
  
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes.
  
• Experience with ductwork assembly and pipe threading is a plus.
  
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential.
  
• Previous exposure to machining, soldering, and operating power tools will be beneficial.
