Job summary

L.K. Jordan & Associates is recruiting MIG and flux-core welders for Tex Fab in the Houston, TX area. This temp-to-hire role targets experienced welders with strong metal fabrication and production welding backgrounds, specifically MIG and flux-core processes.

Applicants should be able to read blueprints and follow welding specifications. The ideal candidate will set up equipment, adjust voltage and wire feed, perform tack and finish welds, inspect weld quality, and maintain a clean, safe work

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG and flux-core welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding specifications.
• Experience in a fabrication/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Operate welding equipment and hand tools safely.

• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• MIG and flux-core welding on metal components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
• Set up welding equipment and adjust voltage, wire feed, and other settings as needed.
• Perform tack welding and finish welding to meet production requirements.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and defects.
• Use grinders and other hand tools to prepare materials and finish welds.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Job Summary L.K. Jordan & Associates is currently recruiting for MIG / Flux-Core Welders for Tex Fab in Houston, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for experienced welders with a strong background in metal fabrication and production welding. The ideal candidate will have experience welding with MIG and flux-core processes, be able to read blueprints, and maintain quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and flux-core welding on metal components and fabricated assemblies.
