Job summary

FS Companies is seeking a MiField Agronomy Intern to support the Area Agronomy Manager by turning data into insights for go-to-market strategies. The role includes evaluating MiField imagery, conducting in-field trials, tissue sampling, and direct interaction with grower customers.

This internship offers hands-on experience with Precision farming, drone/satellite imagery, and collaboration with the Precision Ag department, with eligibility based on related college coursework.

Qualifications

• Intern will analyze MiField data and contribute to the go-to-market strategy.
• Will perform tissue sampling and in-field trial evaluations.
• Work with FS Crop Specialists and interact with grower customers.

Responsibilities

• Work with crop specialist on utilizing MiField technology and discuss and deliver results with recommendations to customers.
• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment and technology.
• Monitor trials weekly and perform in-season assessments.
• Complete tissue sampling of trial fields and others as needed.
• Utilize drone and satellite imagery to collect data.
