Job summary

Bangor University is seeking a permanent full-time Lecturer in Midwifery in the School of Health Sciences at Bangor campus. The role supports teaching and learning and advances the Bachelor of Midwifery programme with regulatory approvals.

Experience as a midwifery lecturer or a transition to midwifery education is welcome. Masters study is supported, and Welsh language ability is desirable. Enhanced DBS check will be conducted, with some remote working within the UK to support work life balance.

Qualifications

• Masters level in a relevant subject area.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Willingness to undertake a Masters degree is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to teaching and learning within the School of Health Sciences.
• Plan, implement and evaluate educational activities for midwifery and health care programmes at undergraduate level.
• Ensure quality practice placement experiences for students within the partnership providers across North Wales.
