Job summary

Bangor University invites applications for a permanent full-time Lecturer in Health Sciences, Learning Disability. The post is based on the Bangor campus and contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate Education in Learning Disability Nursing within an ambitious School of Health Sciences.

The successful candidate will deliver teaching and learning across the curriculum, contribute to course administration and curriculum design, and support students academically and pastorally.

Qualifications

• Higher Degree (MSc) in a related subject or close to completion.
• Experience delivering teaching and learning across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching and learning provision across undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum.
• Engage in course administration, evaluation and curriculum design.
• Develop skills and support students academically and pastorally.
• Support student learning in clinical practice while on placement.
• Support the delivery of clinical skills and interprofessional learning across programmes.
• Engage in professional development, including Bangor University's PgCertHE scheme.
• The successful candidate will contribute to the Learning Disability Nursing portfolio.
