The position requires CAT6 and fiber optics proficiency, along with 100% travel across the Midwest to various job sites including cold storage and food production facilities. Lifts, conduit work, and blueprints experience are essential.

Qualifications

Professional experience as a Low Voltage Technician in industrial or heavy commercial settings.
Strong CAT6 and fiber optic installation and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and site maps.
Willingness to travel 100% of the time within the Midwest region.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights.
Must have a reliable vehicle for mobilization to various job sites.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems including CAT6 and fiber optics.
Perform fiber terminations (multimode and single-mode) and MDF/IDF buildouts.
Operate boom and scissor lifts to install at heights exceeding 40 feet.
Install and route conduit (3/4-inch aluminum, Robroy, stainless) as required.
Interpret blueprints and site maps to ensure precise installation per specs.
Maintain and service industrial CCTV, security, and alarm systems.
