Ardán seeks a Title Examiner in Naperville, IL to abstract and examine public records, producing title opinions and commitments with high accuracy and productivity. You will analyze deeds, mortgages, liens, and related documents to ensure clear titles and smooth insurance underwriting.

The role requires strong knowledge of title searching software, meticulous attention to detail, and clear communication with clients and management. On-site work and a team-focused environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires familiarity with title searching software and procedures.
• Experience examining title for MN, WI, IL, MO, KS, NE is preferred.
• Understanding of underwriting policies and real estate law is essential.

Responsibilities

• Examine title orders to determine insurability and conditions of title.
• Prepare accurate title commitments per procedures; prior experience mandatory.
• Research title plant software and evaluate documents for ownership and description.
• Explain chain of title, exceptions and requirements to clients and managers.
• Identify title defects and propose curative solutions.
• Assess risks and communicate findings to management and underwriters.
• Maintain production levels and meet daily performance standards.
• Support customers and management to respond to questions and deadlines.
