Job summary

Balchem Corporation seeks a Quality Assurance Regional Manager-Midwest to lead the regional quality team across Defiance, OH and Bridgeton, MO sites. You will drive product safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance, partnering with R&D, production, and sales to enable successful launches.

Responsibilities include developing the team, implementing CAPA objectives, and ensuring timely audits and corrective actions. Strong leadership and a deep QA background are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in food, supplement, or related industry, including management.
• Familiarity with FDA, HACCP, SQF, and industry best practices.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs; required to stand, walk, sit, and reach.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional quality team performance and coaching.
• Build cross-functional relationships to influence site strategies.
• Develop and deliver training on food safety and quality.
• Ensure products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Root-cause investigations and process improvements.
• Interface with R&D, Production, and commercial teams for new launches.
