Job summary

Missio Nexus, based in the United States, is seeking a Regional Director for Partner Relations in the Midwest to plan and lead a comprehensive fundraising program across major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, planned giving and events. The role requires residing in IL, MO, IA, WI, MN, IN, MI or OH, with ongoing travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Must be a committed follower of Jesus Christ and an active member of a Christian church.

• Outstanding relational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter and organized; able to work independently.
• Able to relate detail to the overall picture.
• Ability to develop and implement a strategic plan with a team.
• Microsoft Office software experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and coordination of the fundraising activities of Global Disciples in the assigned region.
• Weekly report to Senior VP Stewardship & Advancement concerning activities and growth in the assigned region.
• Maintain a proactive, creative leadership role in identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major donors, business giving, contributions from churches and grants from foundations.
• Cultivate and directly solicit key partners, working with staff and volunteers, including regional advocate team(s) and intercessor team(s).
• Prepare or oversee direct mail letters, case statements, grants and brochures to support fundraising efforts.
• Ensure that all partners are appropriately thanked and receive regular communication.
• Implement an effective approach to initiate and grow planned giving among partners.
• Initiate and implement ARPA goals for the Partner Relations Team.
• Provide detailed reports about fundraising progress to the Senior VP Stewardship & Advancement on a regular basis.
• Serve as a visible spokesperson and advocate for Global Disciples.
