The Nature Conservancy in Michigan seeks a visionary leader to serve as the Michigan Executive Director and Midwest Partner, guiding strategy, fundraising, and conservation programs across the state and Midwest. You will lead a large multidisciplinary team, inspire donors and partners, and represent TNC with the Board of Trustees and external audiences, aligning regional efforts with global priorities.

Location preference includes Lansing, Ann Arbor, Detroit, or Grand Rapids, with a strong focus

Formación

Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 7 years of experience as a leader in conservation, nonprofit, advocacy, or related sector.
Extensive management experience, including motivating and managing a large multidisciplinary team.
Proven experience cultivating high-level donors to meet fundraising goals.
Written and verbal fluency in English.
Strong presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsabilidades

Lead strategy development and oversee fundraising efforts for Michigan and the Midwest region.
Represent TNC to donors, media, government, and partners; cultivate relationships at the Board level.
Oversee staff performance, financial health, and cross-team collaboration to achieve the 2030 conservation goals.
