Just Solutions is seeking an experienced State Initiatives Manager to lead and coordinate the Emerging States Program. You will shape strategy, mobilize resources, and drive cross-state collaborations focused on climate justice and equitable solutions.

The ideal candidate has a track record of organizing complex campaigns at state or federal levels, works well with BIPOC organizations and leaders, and is willing to travel across the Midwest from Michigan to other states.

Qualifications

• Lead and coordinate the Emerging States Program.
• Develop and leverage collaboration and capacity building with EJ-CJ orgs in the Midwest.
• Collaborate with community groups, government agencies and non-profit partners to drive climate justice initiatives.
• Inform, engage and coordinate diverse external stakeholders and internal staff to advance priorities.
• Travel to multiple states and help build a multi-state program; reside in Michigan-Midwest.
