Job summary

LJA Energy, a division of LJA Engineering, Inc., seeks a Project Manager – Midstream to lead multidisciplinary engineering projects from pursuit to execution. You will interact with clients, contractors, and internal design teams to ensure delivery quality and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years in oil & gas project management, midstream facility experience, and a PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within a year. Strong leadership and coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• 4–8 years leading multidisciplinary engineering projects in oil & gas.
• Experience with midstream facilities and installations.
• Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs, site planning, equipment specs, and construction packages.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, bid and execute midstream projects across a range of facilities.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors during bid phases and RFIs.
• Coordinate QA/QC for engineering packages including reviews.
• Assemble and distribute complete engineering document packages.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and designers on medium-to-large programs.
• Maintain clear communication across internal teams, clients and partners.
