Job summary

Wolfe Research, LLC in New York seeks an Associate for its Midstream & Natural Gas team. You will support modeling, note writing, and differentiated research analyses, and progress to client communications and sales/traders as you grow.

The role values accuracy, detail, and critical thinking with strong writing, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; experience in equity research or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Math, or Statistics.
• MBA, CPA, or CFA a plus.
• Fully licensed with Series 7, 63, 86 & 87 preferred or expected within the first 6 months.
• Experience in equity research, investment banking, public accounting, consulting or in the industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft reports/notes on investment themes, events, and breaking news.
• Generate ideas and communicate effectively in a time-sensitive environment.
• Work with large data sets in Excel/Access and source information independently.
• Build and update financial and valuation models for covered companies.
• Master Excel functions, create complex logic, and integrate graphics/data tables.
