Job summary

Wolfe Research, LLC is seeking an Associate to support its Institutional Investor-ranked Integrated Oil & Gas Exploration Team in either New York or Houston. You will assist in modeling, note writing, and creating differentiated research analyses while reporting to the Senior Analyst.

As you develop, responsibilities will expand to communicating with clients and sales/traders, and participating in the creative research process.

Qualifications

• Ability to build financial models and write research notes.
• At least basic proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in equity research, investment banking, or related fields preferred.

About the Role: Wolfe Research is seeking an Associate to join its Institutional Investor-ranked Integrated Oil & Gas Exploration Team in either New York or Houston. They will report to the Senior Analyst and will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the franchise including modeling, note writing, and helping to create differentiated research analyses. As they develop, responsibilities will expand to include communicating with clients and sales/traders, as well as participating in the creative process. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a great deal of critical thinking. Strong writing, modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required. Experience in equity research, investment banking, public accounting, consulting or in the industry is preferred.
