Wabtec in Yankton, SD is seeking a Night Shift Paint Technician to apply coatings to heavy equipment components, following customer specifications for paint colors and maintaining spray equipment. You will manage paint supplies, log timekeeping, and coordinate with the Paint Supervisor, Quality Control, and Purchasing.

Regular attendance and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential. The shift runs Sunday–Thursday 10:00 PM–6:00 AM with a $1.50 per hour midnight differential; base pay ranges

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year related work experience.
• Knowledge of painting and spraying.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment tests (math, physical, drug, background).

Responsabilités

• Prepare parts for painting.
• Maintain and clean spray gun.
• Maintain inventory of paint and supplies.
• Follow customer product specifications and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping records and report issues to supervisor.
• Perform duties safely and wear PPE as required.
• Assist other production areas as needed and travel for projects.
