Job summary

Wabtec is seeking an entry-level Paint Department associate to paint products to customer specifications and ensure quality. You will work with the Paint Supervisor and other painters to meet production goals and maintain equipment such as spray guns and filters.

Position requires 18+, valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or GED with 1 year of work experience. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm with possible OT; health, welfare, and retirement benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable attendance and ability to follow instructions.
• Experience with painting and spraying processes preferred.
• Willingness to wear respirator and PPE.
• Ability to pass pre-employment math test, drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Paint products per customer specifications and color requirements.
• Maintain paint supplies and change filters as needed.
• Operate and maintain spray guns and related equipment.
• Keep a safe and clean work area; report problems to supervisor.
• Occasional travel domestically or internationally depending on project.
