Job summary

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan is seeking a Midnight Medical Coordinator to provide overnight clinical support across multiple Metro Detroit locations. You will maintain medical equipment, manage supplies, and assist with person served care coordination to ensure safe, compassionate care.

The role requires a CNA, a high school diploma or GED, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• CNA is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of medical equipment operation (CPAP, wheelchairs, transfer belts, Hoyer lift) preferred.
• Point Click Care (PCC) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to designated locations within the Metro Detroit area.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment (CPAP, wheelchairs, transfer belts, Hoyer lift).
• Clean and sanitize equipment according to protocols.
• Review prescriptions/scripts and distribute them accurately.
• Educate staff on wedge use and identify appropriate person served.
• Monitor and reorder medical supply inventory to maintain stock.
• Verify appointments and assist with scheduling; maintain care documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain records of equipment maintenance and supply distribution.

Your Role

The Midnight Medical Coordinator provides overnight support to the clinical operations across multiple locations, ensuring proper maintenance and sanitation of medical equipment, overseeing medical supplies, and providing support to person served care coordination.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Travel to designated locations within the Metro Detroit area to perform assigned duties
• Operate and maintain medical equipment and devices, including but not limited to CPAP machines, wheelchairs, and transfer belts, Hoyer lift
• Clean and sanitize medical equipment and supplies according to established protocols
• Review incoming prescriptions/scripts and distribute them accurately and promptly
• Ensure proper use of wedges, educate staff on their application, and identify appropriate person served for wedge use
• Monitor and manage medical supply inventory; reorder as needed to maintain adequate stock levels
• Verify person served appointments and assist with scheduling as necessaryProvide support in organizing and maintaining person served care documentation
• Collaborate with clinical and operations/residential teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and supply distribution

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required
• High school diploma/GED
• Knowledge of medical equipment and devices operation and maintenance (CPAP, Wheelchairs, Transfer Belt, Hoyer Lift, etc.)
• Point Click Care (PCC) experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple locations in Metro Detroit
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of infection control and cleaning protocols
