Job summary

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support adults with traumatic brain injuries. You will help clients gain independence, perform daily living activities, and participate in daily routines in a patient-centered, best-practice environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid CNA certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record are required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain CPR certification is required.
• Ability to stand, bend, and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Motivates and encourages clients who have an acquired brain injury to progress in the home environment as well as in the community
• Assists clients with activities of daily living
• Supports clients by preparing them for their day and assisting them getting to and from work, therapy, and other appointments
• Range of motion exercises
• Performs household services essential to home health care
• Attends concerts, sporting events and other entertainment activities with clients

Your Role
