Job summary

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan is seeking a Midnight Medical Coordinator to provide overnight support across multiple locations in the Metro Detroit area. You will maintain and sanitize medical equipment (CPAP, wheelchairs, Hoyer lift), oversee supplies, and assist with person served care coordination.

The role requires CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and strong organizational and communication skills. Travel between locations and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple locations in Metro Detroit

• Basic infection control and cleaning protocols understanding

Responsibilities

• Travel to designated locations within the Metro Detroit area to perform assigned duties
• Operate and maintain medical equipment and devices (CPAP, wheelchairs, transfer belt, Hoyer lift)
• Clean and sanitize medical equipment and supplies per protocols
• Review incoming prescriptions/scripts and distribute accurately and promptly
• Ensure proper wedge usage and staff education on application
• Monitor and manage medical supply inventory and reorder as needed
• Verify person served appointments and assist with scheduling
• Support in organizing and maintaining person served care documentation
• Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure safety and quality standards
• Maintain records of equipment maintenance and supply distribution

Your Role:

The Midnight Medical Coordinator provides overnight support to the clinical operations across multiple locations, ensuring proper maintenance and sanitation of medical equipment, overseeing medical supplies, and providing support to person served care coordination.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Travel to designated locations within the Metro Detroit area to perform assigned duties
• Operate and maintain medical equipment and devices, including but not limited to CPAP machines, wheelchairs, and transfer belts, Hoyer lift
• Clean and sanitize medical equipment and supplies according to established protocols
• Review incoming prescriptions/scripts and distribute them accurately and promptly
• Ensure proper use of wedges, educate staff on their application, and identify appropriate person served for wedge use
• Monitor and manage medical supply inventory; reorder as needed to maintain adequate stock levels
• Verify person served appointments and assist with scheduling as necessary
• Provide support in organizing and maintaining person served care documentation
• Collaborate with clinical and operations/residential teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and supply distribution

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required
• High school diploma/GED
• Knowledge of medical equipment and devices operation and maintenance (CPAP, Wheelchairs, Transfer Belt, Hoyer Lift, etc.)
• Point Click Care (PCC) experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple locations in Metro Detroit
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of infection control and cleaning protocols
