Job summary

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan is seeking an On Call Coordinator to manage after-hours call flow, coordinate staffing, and ensure continuity of high-quality, person-centered care.

The role requires a high school diploma, experience with developmentally disabled or catastrophically injured individuals, and strong communication. You will log calls, update schedules, and respond to urgent inquiries. The position may involve light travel to support on-call operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience working with developmentally disabled or catastrophically injured individuals preferred (e.g., traumatic brain injuries).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the on-call rotation schedule.
• Assist with filling staffing cancellations and call-offs during on-call hours.
• Respond to employee and operational inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Log incoming calls and update ScheduleAnywhere as needed.
• Assess urgency of situations and communicate with appropriate staff for follow-up or resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation of staffing and call-related activity.
• Support continuity of care and operations during after-hours coverage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Role

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to remain organized and respond effectively in fast-paced or urgent situations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time

• Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to Travel 20%
