Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Freight Handler for the 11pm–7am shift in Dallas. You will load and unload freight from trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts, and you will record movements with handheld scanners to keep our network accurate.

This safety-sensitive, non-exempt position requires at least six months of forklift experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 90 pounds occasionally, and solid communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least six months of verifiable forklift experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 90 pounds occasionally.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand carts.
• Use handheld scanners to track and document freight.
• Identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight.
• Verify freight condition against quality standards.
