Job summary

Jobtailor in New Jersey seeks an experienced Middleware Administrator to manage critical banking platforms. You will handle WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, and IBM HTTP Server, ensuring end-to-end middleware operations and production stability.

You will collaborate with application and testing teams, implement deployment templates, and drive automation with Ansible and related tools while aligning with enterprise standards and regulatory initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Apache, J2EE, Java, JBoss, WebSphere Application Server, and Tomcat.
• Experience with BPM products: Appian.
• Linux knowledge.
• Java/Container Framework knowledge.
• Knowledge of shell, Python, and Perl scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end middleware administration for critical banking platforms, including WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, and WXS.
• Deliver middleware enterprise projects and regulatory legislative initiatives.
• Ensure production stability through ongoing support.
• Patch middleware platforms with current software versions to manage customer risk.
• Install, configure, performance-tune, and support middleware servers.
• Work daily with application and testing teams, providing middleware and Java support.
• Create, maintain, and support application deployment templates.
• Design middleware infrastructure and topology for high availability and failover.
• Ensure solutions meet policies, baselines, standards, and business requirements.
• Provide technical consultation to team members and supported areas.
