Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an experienced Middleware and OIPA Application Lead to join our Plano, TX team. You will manage deployment, automation, and operational stability of our core Oracle Insurance Policy Admin (OIPA) platform, lead end-to-end release management, and mentor delivery squads.

You will optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure high availability across DEV/QA/UAT/PROD environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands‑on IT experience focusing on Weblogic, SOA, BPM and Application Administration.
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle WebLogic Server configuration, clustering, deployment, and Application performance tuning.
• 5+ years of DevOps, Release Management, Proven experience managing or mentoring technical resource teams.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration, Writing/debugging SQL Tuning and administration.
• 2 years of experience in Oracle Insurance Policy Admin is preferred.
• Strong exposure to Integration tools such as SOA, BPM or MuleSoft applications.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipeline tools, Git version control and scripting languages (Shell, Python or Powershell) for automation and deployment activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute code deployments, configuration patches, and major releases across OIPA, SOA, BPM or MuleSoft environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD).
• Administer, tune, and troubleshoot Oracle WebLogic Server, Apache web servers, and integration middleware (SOA, BPM, and MuleSoft) supporting high-volume OIPA operations.
• Manage and mentor offshore and onshore resources for Release Management and product enhancement support.
• Perform Oracle DBA activities and Collaborate with Exadata DBA tailored to OIPA batch and transactional workloads, including Oracle database monitoring, schema updates, data fixes, SQL/PL-SQL tuning, and comprehensive Application Performance Tuning.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external teams, such as Exadata / Systems DBAs and Application Owners, to successfully manage environments and execute database refreshes.
• Build and optimize automated CI/CD deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps to streamline software delivery.
• Manage environment provisioning, monitor overall system health, and resolve complex middleware or database bottlenecks.
• Release Manager activities for Code Deployment, application patching and Product enhancements within Oracle Insurance Policy Admin System.
• Architect and Implement initiatives such as Application Integration and Interfaces between OIPA, SOA, BPM and Data Lake/Ware house systems

We are currently seeking a Middleware and OIPA Application Lead to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

We are seeking an experienced Middleware and OIPA Application Lead, to manage the deployment, automation, and operational stability of our core insurance platform. In this role, you will handle end-to-end release management, robust Oracle WebLogic middleware administration, and database management for our Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) environment. Additionally, you will lead and mentor delivery teams while collaborating with cross-functional infrastructure units to optimize platform environments.

TT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $102.675.00 to $188,238.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.

Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
