NTT DATA seeks a Senior Oracle Data Engineer to join our Plano, Texas team onsite. The role requires strong expertise in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Informatica PowerCenter, Python, and Unix Shell scripting, with experience across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• 5+ years hands-on Informatica PowerCenter.
• 5+ years Python and Unix Shell scripting in data engineering.
• 6+ years experience with Oracle Database including tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle SQL/PL/SQL solutions.
• Build and support ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Develop automation with Python and Unix Shell scripting.
• Implement CI/CD with GitHub, GitOps, and Jenkins.
• Manage batch processing with Control-M and AutoSys.
• Optimize Oracle databases for performance and reliability.
• Deliver high-quality datasets for OBIEE/OAS and BI platforms.
• Collaborate with business users, architects, and application teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

We are currently seeking a Senior Oracle Data Engineer - Onsite to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

We are seeking aSenior Oracle Data Engineerto design, build, and support enterprise data solutions that power critical business applications and analytics. In this role, you'll develop scalable ETL pipelines, optimize Oracle databases, automate data workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on data integration and modernization initiatives.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Design, develop, and maintain complexOracle SQLandPL/SQLsolutions, including stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
• Build, enhance, and support ETL workflows usingInformatica PowerCenter.
• Develop automation solutions usingPythonandUnix Shell scripting.
• Implement source code management and CI/CD best practices usingGitHub, GitOps, and Jenkins.
• Manage and monitor batch processing usingControl-MandAutoSys.
• Optimize Oracle databases for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support reporting and analytics by delivering high-quality datasets forOBIEE/OASand other BI platforms.
• Collaborate with business users, architects, and application teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Troubleshoot ETL, database, and production data issues while ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including ETL mappings, data flows, deployment procedures, and operational documentation.
• Participate in code reviews, data architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support data migration, modernization, and cloud transformation projects while ensuring compliance with security and data governance standards.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing complexOracle SQLqueries andPL/SQL(packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers).
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience withInformatica PowerCenter.
• 5+ years of experience withPythonandUnix Shell scriptingin a data engineering environment.
• 6+ years of experience working withOracle Database, including performance tuning and optimization.

Preferred Experience:

• Strong understanding ofdata warehousing,dimensional modeling, and ETL best practices.
• Experience building scalable data integration solutions across bothcloudandon‑premisesenvironments.
• Experience with enterprise scheduling tools such asControl-MandAutoSys.
• Experience usingGitHub,GitOps, andJenkinsfor source control and deployment automation.
• Experience supporting business intelligence platforms such asOBIEE/OAS.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and regulatory best practices.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $102,675 - $171,125 per annum. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
