Job summary

Evolving Solution Services in Ohio is seeking a motivated Utility Operator to support Final Inspection and Test & Pack operations, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficient material handling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role involves assisting the Group Leader, training teammates, communicating critical safety and production information between shifts, performing WIP counts, and supporting rework and offload activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attendance record.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Flexibility to support multiple operational areas within Final Inspection and Test & Pack.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Group Leader in training, supporting, and leading associates within the department.
• Communicate critical safety, quality, and production information between Group Leaders, associates, and opposing shifts.
• Support departmental goals related to safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Provide break and lunch coverage for Final Inspection/Test & Pack operations as assigned.
• Support material handling activities for Final Inspection and associated production areas.
• Perform Work-In-Process (WIP) inventory counts and related inventory verification activities.
• Assist with rework and production offload support activities as assigned.
• Maintain communication with Group Leaders, Supervisors, and associates to support daily operations.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work and staging areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Test/Pack Group Leader, department Group Leaders, and/or Production Control Supervisor.

Job description

Responsible for supporting Final Inspection and Test & Pack operations by providing coverage, material handling support, communication, and operational assistance to ensure safety, quality, and production goals are achieved. This role requires flexibility to support multiple areas within Final Inspection operations while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and safe work practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Group Leader in training, supporting, and leading associates within the department.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Regular exposure to powered industrial equipment and manufacturing machinery.

• Fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Primarily indoor manufacturing environment.
