Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial experience in a product company.
• Proficiency with Node.js and React.js (TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, Node.js, Express.js, Nest.js, GCP, Firestore, PostgreSQL).
• Product thinking focused on solving user problems, not just on technical solutions.
• Experience building AI-powered products, LLM workflows, RAG systems, AI agents, or using AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in building and developing the Mindly product with deep user understanding and product thinking.
• Collaborate with Product Team and CEO to understand user needs and evaluate potential solutions.
• Contribute to AI-powered experiences, including AI Companion workflows.
• Use AI-native development practices to accelerate delivery, experimentation, and discovery.
• Own the development cycle from problem identification to production launch.

Your responsibilities:

You will play a key role in building and developing the Mindly product. This is more than just writing code — it’s about deep user understanding, product thinking, and effective collaboration with a cross-functional team.

You’ll work closely with Product Team and СEO in order to:

• deeply understand user needs and their most pressing problems
• shape and evaluate potential solutions to these problems
• contribute to the development of AI-powered experiences, including workflows and the AI Companion that helps users who are interested in mental health support but are not yet ready to start therapy
• use AI-native development practices to accelerate delivery, experimentation, and product discovery

You will become a true “Product Engineer”, someone who fully understands code, design, the user, and the business. Working independently, you’ll drive the entire development cycle: from identifying the problem to launching the finished solution into production.

Your skills:

• 2+ years of commercial experience in a product company.
• Proficiency with Node.js and React.js (we’re using TypeScript, React.js, Redux Toolkit, Node.js, Express.js, Nest.js, Google Cloud Platform, Firestore, and PostgreSQL)
• Product thinking focused on solving user problems, not just on technical solutions
• Experience building AI-powered products, LLM workflows, RAG systems, AI agents, or other AI-native applications or extensive experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of your daily engineering workflow
• Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to design scalable, maintainable systems
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, frameworks, and AI tools
• Experience in mobile app development will be a huge plus
