Qualifications

• Full Rhode Island certification or eligibility for expert residency or emergency certification.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with ability to teach across content areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide short- or long-term substitute coverage for teachers.
• Serve as lead teacher for multiple sections/classes daily as assigned.
• Demonstrate strong instructional and classroom management skills.
• Develop relationships with students, families and staff.
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings.
• Create a positive, achievement-oriented classroom culture.
