Job summary

Legacy Academy in Media, PA is seeking a dedicated Middle School Teacher to join our Christian private school community. The role involves enriching the curriculum, creating lesson plans aligned with school standards, and communicating clear objectives to students.

You will track progress, collaborate with families and staff, and foster a safe, engaging learning environment that supports faith-based education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or higher.
• Background check and fingerprinting.
• Current CPR/First Aid card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Enrich the curriculum and education experience for students.
• Construct a plan that meets Legacy Academy standards, goals and objectives.
• Communicate assignments and objectives clearly to students.
• Track and assess student progress and share with students, parents, and administration.
• Evaluate student needs with support from administration as needed.
• Maintain a safe, engaging learning environment with clear standards.
• Maintain accurate, complete, legible records.
• Collaborate with colleagues, students, parents and administration.
• Engage enthusiastically in school activities and create engaging learning experiences.

Legacy Academy - Middle School Teacher

At Legacy Church we are committed to reaching the lost, changing lives, and most importantly, changing eternities. To help us achieve our Pastor's vision, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team and make a real difference in our world. We are a private, Christian discipleship school serving preschool through grade 12 students. Our enrollment has been exponentially increasing with the drastic and ungodly changes to our public school system. Due to this growth we need teachers in science, math, and mid school. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or higher
• Ability to meet state and federal requirements, including background check and fingerprinting.
• Current CPR/Basic First Aid card or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
