Job summary

Legacy Church in Albuquerque seeks a highly motivated High School Teacher for Legacy Academy to educate students in a Christ-centered setting. You will develop engaging lessons, assess progress, and collaborate with staff and families to support student growth.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education or higher, can meet state requirements, and embraces a discipleship approach to learning. This full-time role offers medical/dental/vision, retirement, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or higher required.
• Ability to meet state and federal requirements, including background check and fingerprinting.
• Current CPR/Basic First Aid card or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Use education and imagination to enrich the curriculum and educational experience of students.
• Construct lesson plans that meet Legacy Academy standards, goals and objectives.
• Communicate assignments and objectives clearly to students.
• Track and assess student progress and share results with students, parents, and administration.
• Collaborate with colleagues, students, parents, and administration.

Legacy Academy – High School Teacher

We are a private, Christian discipleship school serving preschool through grade 12 students. Our enrollment has been exponentially increasing with the drastic and ungodly changes to our public school system. Due to this growth we need teachers in science, math, and mid school. • Uses God given ability to evaluate specific student needs, administration is always there to assist as needed.
• Sets standards for effective and safe learning environment.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and legible records.
• Collaborates with colleagues, students, parents, and Administration.
• Enthusiastically involved with school activities
• Has fun with the students while engaging the imagination to learn and be creative.
