Job summary

Osseo Area Schools is seeking a casual after-school program coordinator for Targeted Services with a schedule of 12-20 hours per week. Start date is mid-September to align with the 26-27 school year, as the role involves recruiting and supporting staff and students.

Training will be provided to ensure compliance with Targeted Services statutes. The role requires coordinating with staff, students, and families, managing attendance, CLPs, and program budgeting, and ensuring a smooth operation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 12 college credits or post-secondary courses in youth work, education, recreation, or similar field.
• Out-of-school time experience preferred.
• Prefer staff who has familiarity or has worked in Targeted Services programs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with Targeted Services staff, students, and families.
• Develop an ongoing robust out-of-school time program.
• Oversee program details such as book facilities space, plan field trips, request busing, and complete and process necessary paperwork.
• Promote effective use of time, materials and sets standards for student accountability.
• Implement and recruit students and staff for the school year and summer programs.
• Maintain the continual well-being of the students in the program.
