ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Longview, Washington. This full-time position provides specialized instruction and support to middle school students with various disabilities, aiming to enhance academic, social, and behavioral success.

You will join a collaborative team dedicated to individualized instruction, evidence-based practices, and strong partnerships with families and school staff, with regular IEP focus and MDT

Qualifications

• Requires valid Washington State Special Education Teacher Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and state standards.
• Develop, implement, monitor IEPs.

• Support students' academic, social-emotional, and functional skills.
• Collect progress data and maintain records.

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Longview, Washington. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide specialized instruction and support to middle school students with various disabilities while making a meaningful impact on their academic, social, and behavioral success.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time

• 5 Days per Week (Monday–Friday)

• 7.5 Hours per Day

• School Year: August 26, 2026 – June 10, 2027

Student Population:

• Middle School

• Students with Various Disabilities

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State Special Education Teacher Certification required

• Experience working with middle school students and diverse learning needs preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

• Ability to create structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environments

• Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and functional needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Washington State learning standards

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff

• Implement evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions

• Support students' academic, social-emotional, communication, and functional skill development

• Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
