Job summary

ProCare Therapy presents a full-time, onsite Special Education Teacher position for the 2026-2027 school year near Woodland, WA. You will deliver targeted instruction and maintain IEP-aligned plans in a middle school setting.

Join a collaborative team, coordinate with families and staff, and participate in IEP meetings to support diverse learning needs. Contract runs Aug 26, 2026 to Jun 11, 2027 with a 7.5 hour day, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Experience with middle school students preferred.
• Ability to support students with various disabilities.
• Strong communication with staff, students, families.
• Flexibility in dynamic classroom environments.
• Willingness to coordinate with administration and attend IEP meetings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals for middle school students.
• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans addressing varied learning levels.
• Modify curriculum and activities for accessibility and inclusion.
• Assess and monitor student progress and adjust instruction.
• Document and communicate student achievement and challenges with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom climate.
