Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and Indiana teaching license for exceptional needs.
• Experience planning and delivering education for students with mild/moderate disabilities.
• Experience developing and implementing IEP services.
• Ability to monitor and document IEP services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the education of students with mild and/or moderate disabilities.
• IEP development and implementation of services to students.
• Participate in case conferences to help develop measurable IEP goals, benchmarks and objectives.
• Regularly monitor the implementation of planned IEP services.
• Inform teachers and providers of their specific responsibilities related to each student’s IEP.
• Assure accommodations on state/district assessments.
• Records management and maintenance.
