Job summary

Cohasset Public Schools is seeking a long-term substitute for a 7th grade Spanish class at Cohasset Middle School in Cohasset, Massachusetts. The candidate should have experience teaching middle school, strong classroom management, and knowledge of Spanish.

Familiarity with novice/intermediate language instruction and comfort with curriculum, assessments, and grading is required. US citizenship/residency or work visa is required; MA license 5-12 Spanish and SEI endorsement are preferred.

• Collaborate with staff to support student progress

The ideal candidate has:
Experience teaching middle school students
Classroom management skills
Knowledge of Spanish
Familiarity with novice/intermediate language instruction
Ability to follow the existing curriculum, assessments, grading, and learning objectives
Experience with Google and other cloud-based platforms
Experience delivering lessons as well as overseeing and grading student work
