Job summary

Cloquet Public School District is seeking a Long Term Substitute Social Studies Teacher for Middle School (Grades 7–8) at Cloquet Middle School. The successful candidate will implement district-approved curriculum, assess student progress, and collaborate with staff to support student success.

Requirements include a B.A./B.S. in a relevant field with Minnesota licensure in Social Studies; Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree, MN licensure in Social Studies preferred.
• Experience with middle school students and differentiation encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer middle school Social Studies curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment and manage classroom behavior.
• Plan lessons, assess student progress, and communicate with families and administration.
• Coordinate with staff to improve curriculum and participate in meetings and committees.
