Qualifications

• Current MN teaching license in social studies for grades 5-12.
• Knowledge of instructional methods and training techniques including curriculum design principles, learning theory, group and individual teaching techniques, design of individual plans, and test design principles.
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including grammar.
• Knowledge of human behavior and performance.
• Mathematical content knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff to determine standardized curriculum and testing designs.
• Create instructional objectives and activities.
• Conduct classroom instruction and tutoring based on lesson plans and individual needs.
• Assess student performance and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Provide a supportive learning environment and manage time effectively.
• Communicate student progress to parents and staff.
• Engage with community and district to support student learning.
