Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education required.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with Integrated Science (DI) or Science (DX) endorsement.
• Highly Qualified by NCLB Standards.
• Able to assess and document student progress.
• Professional in personal conduct and actions.
• Strong organizational, classroom management, collaboration and communication skills.
• Demonstrated competence in the use of technology.
• Active and continuous learner in secondary education, research-based instructional strategies, and supporting the “whole child” at the secondary-level.
