Responsibilities

• Teach district approved curriculum.
• Develop lessons and instructional materials to meet curriculum needs.
• Evaluate pupil's academic and social growth and maintain records.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students.
• Encourage students to maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Guide learning toward curriculum goals with clear objectives for lessons and units.
• Diagnose learning disabilities.
• Conduct parent–teacher conferences outside instructional hours.
• Supervise classroom and students.
