Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans reflecting district curriculum requirements and accommodations for differences.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials aligned to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Assess student learning styles and use results to tailor instruction.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Work with staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
• Plan and assign work to instructional aides and volunteers and oversee completion.
