ABOUT US: Arts in Action Community Middle School opened in the Fall of 2016 and serves students in grades 6-8. We believe that all students deserve access to the arts. We believe that instruction should be culturally relevant, inclusive, and meet the diverse needs of all learners. Teaching at Arts in Action Community Middle School is unique in the following ways:
QUALIFICATIONS:
WAGE AND BENEFITS: The salary for this job is competitive and commensurate with experience; in addition we offer a competitive benefits package including CALSTRS participation and free medical, dental, and vision options. Salary range for fully credentialed science teachers is: $72,000-$101,800. Additional year 1 and longevity stipends are offered. The year 1 stipend is $5,000. Teachers are compensated based on their placement on a scale of developing, lead and distinguished teacher with consideration of additional education units.
