Job summary

Judson ISD seeks an experienced Principal for a Middle School district-wide assignment for the 2026-2027 school year. The role requires Texas Mid-Management/Principal certification, a master’s degree, and leadership credentials such as ILD and T-TESS within 90 days.

The Principal will lead instructional programs, staffing, budgeting and compliance across campuses under the Deputy Superintendent / Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Mid-Management/Principal Certification.
• Current ILD and T-TESS certification within 90 days.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Background fingerprinting clearance required (approx. $50).

Responsibilities

• Provides instructional leadership and directs planning, staff supervision, and evaluation of the instructional program.
• Builds a common vision for school improvement and leads collaborative planning with staff.
• Sets expectations for staff performance in instructional strategies, classroom management and public communication.
• Supervises and evaluates campus staff including APs, teachers, and support staff.
• Administers the budget and ensures program needs are funded within fiscal limits.
